Evidence based exercise for healthy active ageing

Postural Stability in its purest form is evidence based exercise for frailer older persons with a history of falls. It has also been proven to significantly increase moderate physical activity and reduce falls in the general older population (primary prevention).  This is conducted 1-2-1 at home or in groups when NHS funding available.

Fun fitness uses the structure and evidence based exercises of PSI with increased intensity.  It is very effective for seniors particularly for those who have chronic illness, recovering from treatment or maybe just not exercised for a long time.

Fun Fitness group is open to all adult ages targeted towards having fun with movement.  The session is structured to improve; endurance, functional mobility, strength, power, balance, coordination and flexibility.  Each week will have a sports theme incorporating basic drills and coaching. 

Having fun playing games in a non-competitive atmosphere will increase confidence in personal ability.

Everyone can work at their own pace and take breaks whenever they like.
